25-year-old Korean Jin Hee is on the run from debt collectors after failing to pay her debts from her credit card bills. She robs her best friend KC's passport and student exchange opportunity and runs to Singapore to start a brand new lease of life. This time however - as a man. She meets Remy, our 24-year-old Malay undergrad and his family in the lion city as she embarks on her new life as an exchange student. The family takes an instant liking to Jin Hee (now officially called KC) and Remy begins to show her around the campus, eventually introducing her to his friends. This simple premise becomes a web of drama, deceit, suspicion, love and tragedy all rolled into one. Add the fact that Remy will eventually find out that KC is actually a girl early on in the series and eventually fall in love with her, it's a dramatic comedy of love, tragedy and despair - albeit with a modern twist.
