Alberto has come back to town several years after he made a promise that he made with Rosita, who has forgotten the promise since they were kids. Felipe, the other lover, beats Alberto up and frames him for a murder. Initially Facundo, father of Felipe and influential landowner, made everything possible for Alberto to pay for his supposed fault without realizing who it was really about.
